IBF Live is a unique online intranet show from IBF. Going out live on the first Tuesday of every month, it’s unmissable for anyone who works with intranets, portals and information workplaces.

You’ll see the pictures on your screen and hear the audio through speakers or a headset. The programme is interactive and involves the audience as much as possible. During the programme we encourage you to ask questions and participate in polls and competitions using the Q&A panel on your Webex console. You can also come onto the programme and ask questions in person.

Everything is fresh in May... including a brand new episode of IBF Live! We'd be delighted if you could join Paul Miller and guest hosts from Wells Fargo and IGLOO Software for another exciting show.

The first tour on the docket is ATP World Tour. The Association of Tennis Pros (ATP) is the governing body of the men’s professional tennis circuit. The ATP wanted to create a way for its distributed work force to build connections with colleagues and to facilitate better sharing of knowledge and expertise. Using the IGLOO Community platform, ATP has transformed its decision-making process to be faster, more consistent and inclusive of more opinions from key stakeholder groups.

We'll also take a look at Romec's intranet. Romec was the winner of the 2010 Interact Intranet Excellence Awards for the best launch strategy. Romec’s launch strategy focused on first impressions... giving users a positive first experience, with puzzle games and a first prize trip to New York. This initiative was a resounding success with 1032 users accessing the competition and 800 submitting entries.

Next we'll check in with Silvia Cambie, author of International Communications Strategy – Developments in cross-cultural communications, PR and social media, about one of her recent case studies at UniCredit, as well as her upcoming speaking engagement at the Arab Social Media Forum.

Last but not least, Kate Pugh will share nuggets from her book Sharing Hidden Know-How: How Managers Solve Thorny Problems With the Knowledge Jam and tell us why she thinks intranet managers are uniquely suited to model the intentionality, openness and stewardship that we want in our social media.
